When you start thinking about bands that have influenced music over the last several decades, it is impossible not to include Earth Wind & Fire. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000, EW&F's nearly 40-year history includes eight double-platinum albums, two platinum albums and three gold albums. They have been nominated for twenty Grammy awards and eight are currently sitting on their shelves.
Earth, Wind & Fire is an American funk band, formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1969. Led by Maurice White, they are best known for their hits of the 1970s, among them After the Love Has Gone, September, Reasons, Fantasy and Shining Star.
